Shelby Stelfox brings a wealth of event management and business development experience to team EDGY.
From the moment she began her degree in Business Management (with a concentration on Entrepreneurship) at George Mason University in Virginia, Shelby’s flair for event management was obvious.
It’s a skill she honed throughout college, planning launch parties and business merger events while working at the Founders’ Institute, a company focused on teaching how to turn business ideas into working businesses.
Being a true California girl at heart, the moment college ended Shelby was back on a plane to live close to her family in San Jose.
Roles in business development at Star One Credit Union – the 10th largest credit union in the US – and event management at eBay followed.
At eBay, all 22 event spaces on the corporate headquarters were managed by Shelby and her support teams, giving her the opportunity to work with senior leadership, excel at managing high pressure situations while juggling five other client needs at once. come!

Something you’d never guess?
Shelby has a first degree black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do. She may be a little rusty but she truly can break boards and do spinning jump kick things!
She’s just a little bit musical too, playing piano and all percussion instruments, from djembes to marimbas.

Shelby and her husband are getting set to welcome their first child, so their weekend bottomless mimosa routine has already been interrupted, with more interruptions to come.
